Self Worth

This was a mixed media installation piece, created from discarded items to create a figure. The figure reaches for an artist’s podium while dragging behind him a trail of garbage bags. Is he art or is he trash, can someone who has been discarded as trash find their self worth again. Is this act of trying to prove ones worth for oneself or for proof to show the world. I think I captured this, but let me know your thoughts.
